The Fluffy Bunny Game

Hiya! Inspired by Clinton's latest post, I'm going to post the rules to a game Ben Lehman & I collaborated on over the summer.

I give you, the Fluffy Bunny game.

Character Creation:
To make a Bunny
  • Pick a name (eg Thumper, Marshmallow, Brownie, etc)
  • Pick a color (eg brown, black, white)
  • Decide if the bunny has patterns (eg spots, half-black/half-white)
  • Write "Fluffy 10" under the Bunny
  • Write "Happiness 10" under the Bunny

Your bunny is complete!

Playing the Game
Play out your little bunny lives, each player takes a turn taking an action

You may:
  • Play Bunny games
  • Graze clover and grass
  • Have bunny tea party with the sparrows
  • Have sex like little bunnies
  • etc.

The End!

Now what's missing from this game?

Sure thing. You can be the most Brown Bunny of them all, able to walk the shadows to create a realm where.....

you get to eat the BIGGEST carrot of them all!

That one is easy! We need more setting detail!

How old can bunnies be? Is there a bunny king? What kind of plants do bunnies eat? Do happy bunnies have more sex than unhappy bunnies?

I am the bunny king!

But what is this thing you speak of, "unhappy bunnies"?

I think it really needs rules for underwater vehicles.

Sorry Emily, I forgot to mention - that's a house rule I and my friends use. Instead of getting Happiness 10 at the start of the game, you get to roll 3d10, take highest happiness. We thought that was more realistic.

Well, Adam, it depends on what kind of bunny you have. In the advanced rules you can choose between american fuzzy lop, dutch, jersey wooly etc.

If you're looking for long ears I'd go for flemish giant or a hare, but be sure to steer clear of english angora. Cute, but *very tiny* ears.

Here are some bunny cousins in scenario format, but even they've got what our bunnies lack--some kind of wolf biting at their heels:

The Longest Winter.
